4 vols,8vo, with four engraved frontispieces, engraved and printed titles, and numerous wood engraved illustrations throughout, some occasional foxing;original patterned cloth elaborately blocked in blind, spines decorated in gilt which has darkened with age and spines slightly worn to the top and base. Front end paper of Vol.2 has a signature of 1851.Rubbed at headbands one or two corners lightly bruised else a very good, clean copy. With 4pp publisher's catalogue bound in at end of fourth volume.
