Shuntei Miyagawa (November 11, 1873 - July 26, 1914) is an ukiyo-e artist during the Meiji period, called Seikei, Shuntei, and Gyoshi, and are also written as S. He particularly draws children with a soft touch, and is also good at drawing beautiful women (Bijin-ga). In addition to genre paintings, he also creates magazine frontispieces and newspaper illustrations. He interacted with many young writers and journalists, including Kunio Yanagita, Hanabukuro Tayama, Doppo Kunikida, Shusei Tokuda, and Yuyu Kiryu. He also became acquainted with the writer Sazanami Iwaya.
