Though not the rare 1941 first edition, it provides Hippolyte’s historically important French translation in an authoritative format. Condition is Grade B: solid softcover, light sunning and shelf wear, mild tanning to edges, clean interior with no visible markings. A strong reference copy for scholars and collectors of Continental philosophy. Hippolyte’s translation of Hegel’s Phenomenology of Spirit remains essential and, despite being a later imprint, should maintain stable market value in serious collections.
