Hardcover. Two volume set. Light brown cloth binding with gilt lettering on red labels on the spine. Comes with dust jackets. Colored page edges. Both volumes show wear to the corners of the dust jackets. The front inner sleeve of the dust jacket for the first volume has a tear at the bottom. There is a tiny book seller's label on the rear inner sleeve of the dust jacket for the second volume. There are pencil markings on the 'Contents' page of the first volume. Text is crisp and generally clean throughout.
