The volume presents precise measured drawings—plans, elevations, and sections—of royal palaces in the Kathmandu Valley, including Patan Durbar. Its importance has grown since the 2015 Nepal earthquake, as many of the documented structures were damaged or lost, making this a vital pre-disaster record. The book is in good vintage condition with clean pages and a sound cloth binding; the slipcase shows tanning, foxing, and edge wear. Text in English and Japanese.
