This book documents Japan’s sights, customs, and daily life, featuring a striking cover of a figure riding a giant Namazu (Earthquake Catfish) over Mount Fuji. It includes numerous full-page engravings, such as the Temple of Dai-Butsu at Nara, the Ceremony of Washing the Infant Buddha, and traditional inns and street scenes. Condition is FAIR/POOR: heavily damaged spine, worn covers, scuffed illustration, and age-toned pages, but text and plates remain legible.
