A vintage 1923 edition of Faint Perfume by Zona Gale, the first woman to win the Pulitzer Prize for Drama (Miss Lulu Bett), published by D. Appleton and Company, New York. Author: Zona Gale (1874–1938), a notable American novelist and playwright. Publication dated MCMXXIII on the title page. Bound in original brown cloth with black spine lettering and deckle edges. Condition: Good+ Vintage no dust jacket; light shelf wear to spine ends and corners, clean cloth, and legible spine text. Interior pages show even age-toning typical of the 1920s; binding tight and square, with no writing or markings. A solid reading or shelf copy representing early 1920s Midwestern American literature.
