This is the complete seven-volume set of the monumental Sanskrit-Wörterbuch by Otto Böhtlingk and Rudolph Roth, often called the “Great St. Petersburg Dictionary.” This 1976 Japanese facsimile edition, published by Meicho-Fukyu-Kai, faithfully reproduces the original St. Petersburg Academy of Sciences edition (1855–1875). It remains one of the most comprehensive Sanskrit–German dictionaries ever produced and is indispensable for advanced study in Indology, Vedic literature, and comparative linguistics. The set is in very good condition, with clean text blocks, tight bindings, and minor age-related foxing on top edges. Several volumes remain in original protective wrapping, reflecting minimal use.
