Royal 8vo. Bound in the publisher’s original red cloth with gilt titling to the spine, set within a gilt-ruled grey title label. Housed in the original unclipped dust jacket. The dust jacket shows minor wear to the upper spine edge together with light surface toning commensurate with age, but remains generally clean and presentable. Top and bottom edges of the jacket show some creasing and small chips as visible in the photographs.
The text remains bright, crisp and clean throughout, without any hint of age-toning and with no markings. A sound and attractive copy of this substantial volume in the Pilgrim Edition.
