First edition of Volume I (1928), reprint of Volume II (1932). Complete set in two volumes.Bound in publisher’s original grey buckram boards. Lacks dust jackets.
Both volumes include a frontispiece portrait of Katherine Mansfield; Volume II retains the original tissue guard.
Volume I shows wear to the spine and rear board hinge cloth. Hinges of Volume I are slightly weakened, and the binding is loosening, but remains serviceable.
There is occasional foxing to the early pages of Volume I.
Volume II is protected by a glassine wrapper, which may be removed by tearing should one wish to dispense with it.
Foxing to the endpapers of Volume II, otherwise a comparatively well-preserved copy.
