Illustrated with numerous contemporary black-and-white photographs from the front lines. Condition is acceptable to fair only: original red cloth with gilt lettering shows heavy sunning, wear, and chipping; the front hinge is cracked but pages remain attached. Interior shows heavy foxing and age-toning. Approx. 23 cm tall.
