This book is Dr. Hajime Nakamura’s translation and commentary on Sādānanda’s Vedanta Sarā, long used as an introduction to Advaita Vedanta (non-dualism). Its key feature is the “original text with translation (Genbun Taiyaku)” format. The Sanskrit text and the Japanese translation appear on facing pages (or a similar layout), making it extremely useful for language study and for serious research on Advaita philosophy.
