This is an important academic and historical book: Marihuana Reconsidered by Lester Grinspoon, M.D., a well-known American psychiatrist and Associate Clinical Professor at Harvard Medical School. First published in 1971, this copy is the Third Printing from 1973. Grinspoon’s work was groundbreaking for its balanced, detailed study of the psychological, physical, and social effects of cannabis in the United States. It strongly influenced later medical research, public debate, and discussions about medical use and legalization. The book is a hardcover without a dust jacket (not shown in the images). The back cover includes a portrait of Dr. Grinspoon. Condition is B (Good Used). The covers and spine show clear age-toning, yellowing, and some corner wear. The page edges have heavy oxidation and foxing. Inside pages have light age spots but remain fully readable.
