Woodblock Print大判3枚続摺良 少シミ 　明治17年に東京上野から群馬県の高崎を結んだ日本鉄道が開通しました。本作では下半分に東京上野駅を、上半分に赤城山を背景にした高崎駅と高崎の街並みが描かれ、群馬県初となる鉄道開通当時の様子を伝えています。　　The Japan Railway linking Ueno, Tokyo, to Takasaki, Gunma Prefecture, was opened in 1884. This work depicts Tokyo Ueno Station in the lower half and Takasaki Station and the streets of Takasaki with Mount Akagi in the background in the upper half, showing the first railway in Gunma Prefecture at the time of its opening.
