(36), 671, (188, index) pp., 355x245mm, contemporary full calf, spine rebacked, red leather title piece, gilt title partly disappearing, spine rebacked & a little rubbed, sides restored and decorated with gilt armour of Henry II at the center with blind stamped frame, and gilt flowers at corners, all edges gilt, inner hinges a little repaired, signed, endpap. & text browned, put with memo pap., Pp.461 printed wrongly as 491, contemporary neat annotations in the margin & underlines in ink and later in black pencil. water stains in the margin, but almost papers are very clean, contemporary signatures, else very good.
