First US edition, 1930. Bound in the publisher’s original black cloth, with Mansfield’s name and the title blind-stamped on the upper board and gilt lettering to the spine. With the original dust jacket, which has been protected by a glassine paper cover and remains remarkably clean. Top edge tinted green. Endpapers show slight foxing. The text block exhibits light age toning but remains clean throughout.

Complete set of 13 volumes. Publisher’s original maroon cloth with gilt titling to the spines. All volumes protected in original glassine jackets (the glassine on Volume 13 is torn). Internally fine, with very little evidence of use. Each volume includes a Japanese colophon printed at the rear. Housed in the original publisher’s printed shipping box, featuring the names and addresses of Kinokuniya and Hon no Tomosha, pricing details, portraits of Katherine Mansfield, and illustrations of British national flags.
