This is a rare individual volume of JARDINS D’ITALIE by renowned architect Georges Gromort, published in 1931 by Vincent, Fr?al & Cie, Paris. Designated as Volume 3, this portfolio focuses on Italian villas in Tuscany (Florence region), Northern Italy (Lake Como and Lake Maggiore), and Villa Giulia in Rome. It contains 52 plates with 77 photographic views and 9 ground plans with explanatory text, featuring Villa Giulia, Villa Palmieri, Villa La Pietra, Villa Carlotta, Isola Bella, and others. Issued as a large folio with loose plates in the original quarter cloth portfolio. Good vintage condition with edge wear, hinge cracking, moderate foxing, and clear photographic plates throughout.

1931年にパリの建築書専門版元ヴァンサン・フレアル社より刊行された、建築家ジョルジュ・グロモールによるイタリア庭園研究の金字塔的著作、全3巻のうちの「第3巻」です。
本巻はトスカーナおよび北イタリア地方の著名な別荘（ヴィラ）に焦点を当てており、計77点の景観図を含む52枚の図版、および詳細な平面図（プラン）と解説テキストが収録されています。ルネサンスからバロック期にかけてのイタリア造園術の精華を、専門的な視点から記録した貴重な学術資料です。
装丁は当時の趣を伝えるマーブル紙を用いた半クロス装で、書棚での保管や鑑賞にも適しています。
