Vol. I shows cloth wear to the rear joint, though this does not affect the soundness of the binding. Boards and spines exhibit expected rubbing and age-related handling marks for a mid-19th-century cloth binding.
There is foxing and minor staining to the titles and endpapers of all volumes. The text blocks show occasional foxing, slight offsetting, and sporadic minor stains, but are generally clean and in good condition overall.
