Bound in publisher's maroon cloth with printed paper spine label. Lacks dust jacket. Large Octavo. Top edge tanned. Faint foxing throughout the text. Slight looseness to the lower hinge of the front board, but overall a well-preserved copy.

First edition of Volume I (1928), reprint of Volume II (1932). Complete set in two volumes.Bound in publisher’s original grey buckram boards. Lacks dust jackets.
Both volumes include a frontispiece portrait of Katherine Mansfield; Volume II retains the original tissue guard.
Volume I shows wear to the spine and rear board hinge cloth. Hinges of Volume I are slightly weakened, and the binding is loosening, but remains serviceable.
There is occasional foxing to the early pages of Volume I.
Volume II is protected by a glassine wrapper, which may be removed by tearing should one wish to dispense with it.
Foxing to the endpapers of Volume II, otherwise a comparatively well-preserved copy.

Occasional mild foxing throughout the text block, but overall a clean and legible copy. Binding is tight and sound.

Moderate foxing to fore-edge, with mild foxing extending into the beginning of the introductory note. The remainder of the text is generally clean. A tight and sound copy.
