Henry W. Kinney、Self-published / South Manchuria R・・・
Henry W. Kinney, a leading public relations official for the South Manchuria Railway Company (Mantetsu), compiled this detailed pictorial and textual record of Manchuria’s development under Japanese influence, aimed at Western audiences. The work contrasts traditional practices with modernization efforts, including the Kungchuling Experimental Station, and features numerous sharp photographic plates. Published in Dairen, December 1930 by Hamada Printing Co., Osaka, it is bound in red cloth with gilt lettering and an Art Deco cover, measuring approximately 23 × 15.5 cm. Condition is good to fair externally with shelf wear and fraying, while the interior is very good, age-toned but clean.
